Join us for an advanced ride to Falkirk to earn some points for the Love to Ride Challenge!
The aim of the Love to Ride Challenge is simple - get people cycling. It’s a fun, sociable competition for individuals and teams to take part in – no lycra required!
Throughout the month there will be spot prizes for individuals and prizes for the teams with the most points at the end of the month. If you’re not already a regular cyclist, then you’ll have four times as many entries in the spot-prize draw! And by logging more journeys you increase your chances of winning.
It’s not about how often you cycle, or the distance you travel. New cyclists are encouraged to join, and anyone who manages at least one ten-minute cycle in March has a fair chance of winning.
Registering into the competition is easy
1. Register at www.lovetoride.net/unicycle, and join your team “INSTITUTE NAME”
2. Get access to the online competition and receive a registration pack
3. There will be events & ideas to help staff and students try cycling & then log the activity online - like "Try a Bike" sessions incorporated with the regular “Dr Bike” sessions you’ll have seen around campus.
4. You compete against other teams to get the most people onto bikes, have fun and win prizes!
