Join Imogen on a Saturday morning for an exciting toolbox of exercises, games and techniques to unscrew your imagination and inspire your impro! Open to all levels.
Have FUN whilst developing the skills of:

-‘Mental toughness’ or ‘happy fail’
-Trusting impulses
-Active listening
-Working off your scene partner
Imogen will tailor the class to who is in the room and can offer supportive, personalised feedback. Requests for specialist subjects (authenticity, narrative, genre-work, poetry, rap) are welcomed, preferably in advance!
WHO: Open to all levels and experiences of impro. Suitable for those interested in Keith Johnstone style learning, working out their impro muscles on an ad hoc basis and/or receiving personalised feedback.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Imogen Palmer is a theatre-maker, actor and writer who has been performing improvised theatre and comedy for over 6 years. Credits include all 26 hours of the 26 Hour Improvathon 2017 (Bristol Improv Theatre), ‘Soothplayers’ the improvised Shakespeare (Melbourne Fringe),’Smells Like a Song’ (Impro Melbourne), ‘Monster of the Week’ (Melbourne International Comedy Festival), ‘Improvised Tales’ (Impro Melbourne), ‘Murder She Didn’t Write’ (Degrees of Error) and ‘A Night of Noir’ (Bristol Improv).
She’s trained with Patti Stiles (Impro Melbourne, Loose Moose Theatre), Jason Shotts (Second City), the Showstoppers (London) and Pgraph (Hideout Theatre).
She’s ran improvisation classes across the UK and Australia was an international guest teacher, performer and speaker at Australasia’s largest improv festival ‘Improvention’. She specialises in bringing authenticity, vulnerability and good storytelling to improvised theatre.
